Google Analytics, as You Know It, Is Dead! Are You Ready for GA4?

Google Analytics Is Dead Are You Ready for GA4

The current free version of Google Analytics (Universal Analytics) is being replaced by Google Analytics 4 (GA4). Do you know how the Google GA4 Analytics announcement affects small businesses and blogs?

HIGHLIGHTS

“Universal Analytics will no longer process new data in standard properties beginning July 1, 2023. Prepare now by setting up and switching over to a Google Analytics 4 property.”

Your data will still be in Universal Analytics until Dec 31, 2023. And then, if you have not exported it somewhere (with something like Supermetrics), it will no longer exist.

You can also selectively copy/paste data you want to preserve. In GA4, data defaults to only saving two months of data.

You can change the default to 14 months. If you fail to change the default that data will be lost.
Free GA4 only retains data for 14 months.

If you want to save data longer than 14 months, you have to upgrade to paid BigQuery.

These Free Digital Marketing Resources were provided by Anil during his presentation.

GA4 is not the same tool as Universal Analytics. It has a different data model, reporting and implementation process. So you cannot just sit and wait to flip the switch.

You have to be ready with the new implementation and learn the new tools. So don’t miss this opportunity to learn from Anil Batra, who is on top of the changes that are happening in Google Analytics.

Watch the replay below to find out what is changing and what you need to do. Whether you’re a DIY type or need someone to do it for you, this Webinar is for you!
